Combining Forces – this slogan is spot on when it comes to the essence of this strategic alliance.
Each of the two companies has been well established in the manufacturing of machines for the production of LSAW pipes for decades. They have also provided know-how for the pipe production worldwide, each company in its individual sector.
Within the joint venture, the know-how of the two partners is pooled for the benefit of pipe mill customers. Gräbener Maschinentechnik as well as Fontijne Grotnes deliver state-of-the-art machinery to their customers.
On the one hand this machine quality is a result of the engineering by using most modern 3D-systems, comprehensive FEA calculations and an exact tuning of the different machines to one another. On the other hand, the two partners are convinced that only state-of-the-art machine quality allows us to meet today's challenging requirements for pipes, such as higher material grades (X80, X100) and increased wall thickness at smaller pipe diameters.
A joint venture with such an experience has also accumulated numerous certifications, such as for example:
• Certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2008.
Or the production is carried out according to the following international standards:
• American Petroleum Institute (API) SPEC 5L standard 44th, 2008
• Norway Classification Society standard DNV-OS-F101, 2010
• ISO 3183, 2007
